Take away that long press animation and make long press actually do what the tap does now; open the sub-menu. The elongated version of the widget could be another option in the sub-menu.

I would like to disable the touch sensitive menu key so I don't unlock phone from my pocket. No point of a lock screen that is inadvertently unlocked.

Currently the grid looks very empty. I'd love to have a better visual representation of various agenda items. They could be represented as timeline bars, as seen here: http://koxx3.free.fr/gridcal18.png

I've also found a bug (at least on my phone) - some of my events are 'bleeding' onto other days. Eg. Monday's work shift is on Monday, but also appears on Tuesday. I checked it on my calendar app, and it's correct, but Flyscreen's calendar remains messed up, even after multiple updates and exiting and restarting.

I use my Motorola Milestone as an alarm clock and enabled the Flyscreen lockscreen for the first time yesterday. I found this morning that I now have to pull down the notification bar, click on the alarm action and then press 'Dismiss', which is quite hard to do at 6.30am.

I don't use this great app simply because the volume and camera buttons on the side can turn the display on. Not only does this suck up the battery when it accidentally gets turned on, but pressing one of the volume buttons changes the ring style so that it can get turned on or off silent mode. Unless I have this configured wrong, when I need to get to the home screen from FlyScreen, sometimes I also get confronted with the G1/Android lockscreen too. I'm hoping that FlyScreen will eventually include the ability to totally replaced the built-in lock screen of the phone. :) I fear I'm going to wear out the Menu button of my phone by the numerous presses I'm having to make :)

Just realized that actually not only "menu" button unlock device, "Home" button does the same work. Intentionally or by mistake. I'm using HTC Magic from Rogers Cupcake1.5, with the latest update from HTC (build 2.17. 631.2 146733 CL#42949)

I find my ringer shut off all the time because I accidentally press the buttons when putting the phone down. I can also pull down the notification shade to get to messages, etc. (Motorola Droid).

It would be great to have a Google Reader widget. So we could check in a single widget all our feeds instead of having to install one widget for each feed. That way we would also have synchonised our read feeds when we get to our desktop computers.

I certainly realize that the premise behind FlyScreen is news/feeds/social etc. But would it be possible to implement a widget to include phone operations & functions? Nothing too complicated, just basically functions: 1. Phone answer & hangup widget or button (would really be great!) 2. Probably stretching it too far, but a dialer (much less priority) 3. Maybe something to enable or disabled other phone functions such as temporarily disable Flyscreen updates (and/or other data use) when you need to conserve power, brightness, turn wifi on/off, etc.
