This is one of the only simple tasks that force me into the phone. Would be nice to see this along with my "new" sms.

Unless I have this configured wrong, when I need to get to the home screen from FlyScreen, sometimes I also get confronted with the G1/Android lockscreen too.

I'm hoping that FlyScreen will eventually include the ability to totally replaced the built-in lock screen of the phone.

:) I fear I'm going to wear out the Menu button of my phone by the numerous presses I'm having to make :)

please make the screen do an on going loop with flyscreen widgets. stopping at both ends is kind of dull.

Check out the app "No Lock" which disables the phones default lock screen allowing FlyScreen to be the only lockscreen! Available in the market!

Now all you flyscreen lovers can truly use it as a lock screen!

Why develop widgets for the regular homescreen AND FlyScreen? Can you enable FlyScreen to show any regular Android widget that is available to the system?

Currently the grid looks very empty. I'd love to have a better visual representation of various agenda items. They could be represented as timeline bars, as seen here: http://koxx3.free.fr/gridcal18.png

Have a clock widget. Preferably somethin nice like the htc one ;)

Ability to update content with a shake of the phone. This functionality would be available after the double touch unlock (if enabled).

Can u create something like wht lock 2.0 has ? where if u have music playing it will popup the controls on the lockscreen. Thanks

I certainly realize that the premise behind FlyScreen is news/feeds/social etc. But would it be possible to implement a widget to include phone operations & functions?

Nothing too complicated, just basically functions:

1. Phone answer & hangup widget or button (would really be great!)

2. Probably stretching it too far, but a dialer (much less priority)

3. Maybe something to enable or disabled other phone functions such as temporarily disable Flyscreen updates (and/or other data use) when you need to conserve power, brightness, turn wifi on/off, etc.

I would like to disable the touch sensitive menu key so I don't unlock phone from my pocket. No point of a lock screen that is inadvertently unlocked.

Please add a widget to display gtalk messages, similar to twitter widget

It would be great if a battery percentage was included in the space where the date/time/service etc are. Thats one of the only things i have to go into the phone to check everytime!

I have unlimited data plan, and would prefer to have an option to have all contents of feeds fully downloaded on my phone so that when I want to read the feed, I don't need the browser to slowly load each one.
Preferable, I'd rather have the full text articles and no need for the full webpage to be downloaded.

How do you like it? Does it always work smoothly? What can we improve? Does it get laggy after an update?

You could add a small indicator to show if the phone is currently using the wireless network or if it's using the GSM / 3G network.

The same could be implemented for other things like battery status and messaging (e-mail and SMS). I do not yet know if missed calls show up.

This seems to be quite important to me as it was the only use for the standard lock screen I had (besides locking my screen obviously).

Add the ability to blacklist some phone numbers in the SMS Widget and hide their messages

It would be great to have a Google Reader widget. So we could check in a single widget all our feeds instead of having to install one widget for each feed. That way we would also have synchonised our read feeds when we get to our desktop computers.
